It seems that a true programmer seldom reinvents the wheel. Give me
something that does close to what I want and I’ll tweak it. The following
are some sites that I have found useful for acquiring scripts, ideas
and even documentation. Most are full of contributed code.

This is one of the first places I go when I’m looking for new software
and scripts. You can find not only PHP resources, but Perl, ASP, Java,
Javascript, C and C++ and other utilities. They have scripts, tutorials
    and other resources.

Another good resource site for scripts and tutorials. They will send
you a newletter (e-mail) if you want.
  • Javascript Source

This site specializes in javascript code. It was one of the first
I discovered, and I go by and visit often. Most of the scripts are
posted in such a way that you can see them in action, and easily download
the code, or have it emailed to you.

  • DHTML Diner
This section of a larger site (www.webreference.com) has a nice collection
of tips, techniques and code for dhtml.
